Tesla Roadster electric car travel up to 640 miles – US electric car manufacturer, Tesla Motors, will reproduce Roadster models that have been equipped with the latest battery. The electric car can travel up to 640 miles on a single battery charge.
The plan, the latest Tesla Roadster car that will be tested from San Fracisco to Los Angeles in early 2016, similarly as quoted by Reuters site.

For comparison, the previous Tesla Roadster models are only able to reach a distance of 392 kilometers for a single charge. If the test is successful then the latest battery later had increased to 63 percent.

Tesla stop car production was three years ago and focus work on the Model S sedan. Roadster is itself a model of the first electric car produced Tesla. Since the first launch in 2009 until January 2016, Tesla sold approximately 2,500 units of the Roadster.

In addition to the Roadster electric car, Tesla also will launch the car sport utility vehicle (SUV) Model X and Model 3 small cars in 2017.
