Harley-Davidson recall related front brake problem – Giant big motor USA, Harley-Davidson announced the recall of the two models namely Dyna and HD Softail. This withdrawal is done related to the discovery of one of the bolts on the brake system is not functioning optimally.
After read from Visordown, this recall program involving 19,015 Harley motorcycles manufactured between August 22, 2013 until February 24, 2016.
Harley Davidson revealed bolt on the front brake master cylinder which allows potentially rusty brake fluid discharged suddenly. As a result, the front brakes may not work.
As a form of corporate responsibility for its product, motorcycle manufacturer based in Milwaukee, USA, it will notify the owner of the vehicle who indicated involvement of this problem.
HD dealers will inspect even replace the front brake master cylinder without charge to the customer. Hopefully, this recall can be started on January 14, 2016.
The Harley Davidson motor models involved in this front brake system issue, including HD FXST103, FLSTC, FLSTC103, FLSTF, FLSTF103, FXDL, FXDWG, FXDWG103, FXDC, FXDB, FLSTN, FLSTN103, FLSTC103Shrine, FLSTFB, FLSTFB103, FXS, FXS103, FLS, FLS103, FLD, FLD103, FXDF, and Harley-Davidson FXDF103.
