Schedule for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 2016 season – Some time ago, NASCAR released the 2016 season race calendar for the Sprint Cup Series. As usual, the season will run in 36 races plus two non-points race. This is the thirteenth consecutive season for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (formerly Winston Cup Series and Nextel Cup Series) hold a 38 races in a season.
As usual, the nascar season will begin at Daytona International Speedway in mid-February that the Sprint Unlimited and two qualifying races Daytona 500 (held on the same date ie February 20). Next the nascar race season officially opened with theDaytona 500 will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1. Then season will run toward the West, namely to Phoenix and Las Vegas.
There are four races switch scheduling in the 2014 season. Texas will hold the race a week earlier with the conditions of the nascar race on Saturday night (April 6). Kansas will hold its inaugural night race on May 10, while the Martinsville race will be held on March 30, a week earlier than in the 2016 Nascar season schedule.
For the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race will be held on May 17 in Charlotte that will be broadcast Fox Sports 1.
For the Chase session, the opening race will be held at Chicagoland Speedway on September 14 and finishes at Homestead – Miami Speedway on November 16 (it will not clash with the Grand Prix F1 U.S. in Austin on the 2014 season schedule). 10 Chase races will also be broadcast on ESPN that they broadcast last year NASCAR Cup Series races.
