When read Inautonews, Technical Development, Ulrich Hackenberg explained, new Audi R8 and Lamborghini Cabrera will provide a driving experience that is more convincing. In fact, these two cars do share a platform and some of the same components.
He explained that the Audi R8 2016 will come with a weight of 50 to 59 kilograms lighter than the previous generation. This weight reduction thanks to the use of fiber carbon on some parts of the vehicle.
While the line-up engines, Ulrich Hackenberg declined to comment more. Rumors are blows, 2016 Audi R8 will have the power to 450 HP (335 kW) from the unit the 4.2 liter V8 engine. There is also a V10 engine with a capacity of 5.2 liters with power generated reach 570 HP (425 kW). But the news certainly is, this new generation Audi R8 will be born next year.
